Mrs. Garrett died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, as a result of injuries suffered in a vehicle accident near Osawatomie.
She was born June 2, 1980, in Ottawa, the daughter of Doug and Janet Pate Weppler. She attended Lawrence and Ottawa high schools and graduated in 1998. She moved to Richmond in 1999.
Mrs. Garrett worked as a mental health technician at Osawatomie State Hospital for the past year. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Ottawa.
She married Jesse Garrett on Nov. 19, 1999, in Centropolis. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Zeke Garrett and Clayton Garrett, both of the home; her father, Doug Weppler, Springfield, Mo.; her mother and stepfather, Janet and Jeff Clauser, Ottawa; a brother, Zachary Jackson, Lawrence; a sister, Kelsey Jean Jackson, Ottawa; a grandfather, Bill Gremminger, Ottawa; and a grandmother, Ella Weppler, Arizona.
