Eva M. Terry, 87, Kokomo, died 2:10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, in St. Joseph Hospital. Born May 30, 1921, in Ora, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Hurlburt and Fern (Tippitt).
She was employed with Sears Roebuck as a contract sales manager for 17 years, retiring in 1983. She was also a member First Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol (husband Bob) Clouse and Allyson M. Henry, both of Kokomo; one brother, Ray E. Hurlburt, Logansport; one sister, Mary Ellen (Bob) Gunter, Logansport; 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 11 great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Larry R. Frye Sr.; one daughter, W. Kay Farrell; and three great- grandchildren, Allie Bailey, Frye and Spencer Henry.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday in Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., with Pastor Jerry Ausbrook officiating. Private family burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery in Logansport. The family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
