The Warsaw native worked at Reynolds Aluminum in Bourbon.
Surviving are his parents, the Rev. Chad and Avo Burkhart of Claypool; brothers, David of Winona Lake, Larry of Warsaw, and Wayne of Columbia City; a sister, Brenda Haywood of Claypool; and his guardian, Gil Ott of Warsaw.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel. Calling is ffrom 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
