Braxton Brown
Braxton Gaddie Brown, 60, of RFD 3, died late Thursday at Methodist Hospital following a brief illness. A native of Smith County, he had lived in Hattiesburg for the past 20 years and had been employed by Ames Tire Co. for 18 years.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at High Hill Baptist Church in Smith County with Rev. C.R. Nichols officiating. The body will lie in state for an hour preceding services. Burial will be in High Hill Cemetery with the Hulett Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Cooley of RFD 3; Mrs. Webber Laird of Monroe, LA and Mrs. O.B. Russell of Gulfport; and three brothers, Orin and Graydon of Hattiesburg and Clifton of Houston, TX.
