An early settler to Barrington moved to Barrington Township in 1838 to farm on Lake Cook & Old Sutton Rd Cook County. His last farm & home at 212 West Main Street (Lake County) is now on the campus of Barrington History Museum. As per his obit in the Barrington Courier Mr. Applebee & his wife Betsy had 12 children.
