LORIS-Thomas Daniel Dawsey, 29, was pronounced dead at the Loris Community Hospital at 5:30 Saturday afternoon. He was injured by a work truck on a county road.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 pm at the Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Don Watts the Rev. Eldon Grainger and the Rev. Wilbur Squires officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery near Loris.
Mr. Dawsey was born in Horry County Dec. 3, 1935, son of Daniel Lewis and Ella Dawsey.
He is survived by his wife the former Miss Letha Graham of Loris; his mother Mrs. Ella Dawsey of Loris; two stepsons, Elwood Graham of Jacksonville FLA and Paul Ray Graham; one stepdaughter Miss Frances Graham of Loris; three brothers Wilson, Hubert and Eugene Dawsey, all of Loris; one sisters Mrs. Dawsey Blackburn of Loris; two half brothers Mayberry Rabon of Loris and Harley Rabon of Fair Bluff NC; a half sister Mrs. Quincy Faulk of Loris.
The casket will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Friends may call at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dawsey Blackburn.
