Ms. Reynolds died Friday afternoon, May 21, 2004, in a Longview hospital. She was born in Longview on May 31, 1962, the daughter of Everett D. (Sleepy) and Sandra Brinson Reynolds. She attended Pine Tree Elementary through fourth grade. When her family moved to Carthage in 1973, she entered Carthage schools.

Ms. Reynolds is a 1981 graduate of Carthage High School and attended Panola College. She worked for 20 years as a clerk in the attendance office at Carthage High School. Ms. Reynolds was a loyal Bulldog fan and missed very few football games in all the years her father coached.

She enjoyed embroidery and cross-stitching and made many beautiful gifts for her family and friends. She enjoyed people and going places. She was very thoughtful of others.

Ms. Reynolds was an inspiration to many. She never complained and had a positive outlook on life. She showed tremendous courage in facing difficult medical problems. She was spunky and had a wry sense of humor. She cared about others and was the one in the family who knew everyone's birthdays and telephone numbers. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Ms. Reynolds was preceded in death by an infant sister, Amy Laura Reynolds, and grandparents, Claude and Irene Hill Reynolds and Christine McKenzie Brinson.
