MRS. JOHN H. KROG STRCKEN JAN 16, BURIAL ON WED.

Mrs. Johannes Krog, 53 passed away at the University Hospital in Minneapolis on Sunday, January 16. Her illness was of several months duration but it was not until shortly before Christmas that it became serious. On December 10th, she was taken to University Hospital for observation and medical treatment, her condition growing worse until death claimed her on Sunday.

Funeral services were held from the home and the Diamond Lake Danish Lutheran church, Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 19, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Harald Ibsen. Burial was made in the cemetery adjacent to the church. A large gathering of friends which filled the church to overflowing was mute testimony to the esteem in which the deceeased was held.

Agneta Nielsen Krog was born near Odder, Denmark, September 14, 1884. She had atained the age of 53 years, 4 months and two days at death.

Her youth was spent in her native land and in the spring of 1897 she came with her parents to Clinton, Iowa, where the family resided for several years. In 1906 the family moved to Diamond Lake.

She was united in marriage to Johannes Krog, Dept. 9, 1906, and following their marriage, they began farming on the Diamond Lake farmstead which is their present home.

To this union was born six children, Christine (Mrs. Fred Knutson), Herluf , helen, Edith, Ruth, and Norma Krog. Besides her husband and children, she leaves to mourn her departure, her son-in-law, Fred Knutson; three grandchildren, Anita, Kilroy and Ila Jean Knutson, three sisters, Mrs. Meta Peterson, and Mrs. Marie Jorgensen of Clinton, Iowa; Mrs. monrad Hansen of Fenton, Michigan; one brother, Aage Nielsen of Missoula, Montana, and many other relatives and friends.

One grandson Fred Maynard Knutson' one sister, Mrs. Peter Whingelby; one brohter, Niels Nielsen, and her parents preceded her in death. Another brother died in infancy.
