Wilma Masterson, 85
Wilma Juanita Masterson, 85, Bluffton, died at 6:45 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2008 at River Terrace Estates. Born in Blackford County on March 22, 1923 to Eli and Zena (Nestleroad) Keller, she married Garl E. Masterson on July 20, 1943 in Liberty Center; he died August 12, 1993. A homemaker, she was a member of the Markle Church of Christ and worked at Fryback's Ice Cream, Markle Drug Store and at General Electric in Fort Wayne during World War II.
Survivors include four daughters, Karen Dalrymple, Shirley Antonicelli and Mona (Daniel) Byrd, all of Markle, and Cheryl Jean (Ed) Mason of Bluffton; a sister, Gladys Haiflich of Bluffton; nine grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Irene Death, Leona Miller, Ruby Keller, and Cecil Smith; and a brother, Cleophus Keller. Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Thoma/Rich, Chaney & Lemler Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Moreland officiating. Calling hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and for one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will be in the Markle Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Family Hospice of Northeast Indiana
