Dennis Brandt of Sullivan passed away Friday, December 27, 1991 at the age of 37 years.
Dennis was born September 18, 1954 to the late Clinton and Arline Hoch Brandt at Washington, Mo. He was raised in the Red Oak Community and later graduated from Owensville High School in 1972. After graduation he moved to Sullivan where he was employed for a time at the Pea Ridge Ore Mine. In 1977 he became employed as a commercial truck driver and drove for Beaufort Transfer Co. On Nov. 24, 1973 he was married to Nancy Stephens at Gerald, Mo., and to this marriage three sons were born. Dennis loved the outdoors, especially fishing and was also an avid hunter. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Sullivan and Fraternal Order of Eagles Arie #3781.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Brandt nee Stephens of Sullivan, three sons, J.W., Joseph and Jacob Brandt, all of the family home; one brother, Dean Brandt and his wife, Lori; two sisters, Judy Benage and her husband, Andy, and Sharon Dace and her husband, Vernon, all of Sullivan, other relatives and friends.
