W. MARIE ROEDER Entered peacefully into rest in Castro Valley, CA on March 28, 2004. She was 72 years old. A native of Illinois who was born on April 8, 1931. A longtime resident of San Lorenzo, she was employed as an administrative secretary for the Viking Truck Lines. She loved to go shopping, making baked goods for her family, and, especially, her yearly trip to Las Vegas. She is survived by her loving children, Gary T. Roeder of Pittsburg, Catherine P. O'Neill of Danville and Laurie A. Ratto of Alameda, and four grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the late Glenn T. Roeder, in 1997. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Grissom's Chapel/Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo. She will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.
