Polly Walker, 75, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away Friday, April 20, 2007.

She was born Dec. 8, 1931, in Marlow, Okla., to the late Vernon and Mildred Evans McClure.

Polly married Mickey E. Walker on June 6, 1948, in Karnes City.

A graduate of Karnes City High School, she became an administrative assistant at the Texas State Chest Hospital.

Polly had been a resident of San Antonio since 1955 and was a member of the South Memorial Christian Church there.

Her husband, Mickey, and her parents preceded her in death.

Polly is survived by one son, Terry Walker and his wife Claire of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Peggy McClane of Victoria; two brothers, Ronnie McClure of Austin and Tommy McClure of Smithville; grandchildren Michelle Carrillo and Mickey Walker; and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 23, in the Karnes City Cemetery in Karnes City. Polly's son, Terry Walker, presided.
