Farm Accident Victim's Rites to be Thursday
Funeral services for Marcus Lee "Mark" Holloway, 7, killed Tuesday in a farm accident 4 1/2 miles southeast of Mineral Wells, will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Stone officiating. Burial will be in Sturdivant Cemetery.

The youngster died accidentally Tuesday morning when he fell under the wheels of a trailer loaded with rock on the farm of his father LaNelton Holloway. He was spending two months' summer vacation on the farm.

He was born in Mineral Wells and had recently moved to Weatherford with his mother. He just completed seconf grade at Weatherford School.

Survivors include his father, LaNelton; his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Nix of 115 Bryan, Weatherford, a brother, David of the home; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Bessie Cate of San Angelo and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Holloway, who live south of Mineral Wells. - obituary
