Wingate Carter Dies At His Home Near Elkhorn
Wingate Carter, 25, years old a popular young man of Forks of Elkhorn died last evening at 5 o'clock at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. James Carter, after a protracted illness of pneumonia. Besides his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Raymond, Melvin and Frank Carter. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Switzer Baptist Church, the Rev. L. D. Stucker, officiating. The pallbearers will be Edward Morlow, Leslie Costigan, Pierce Holton, Walter Wilhoit, Elmer Wingate and Less Montague. The honorary pallbearers will be Clara Wood, Lee Gallague, Elizabeth Morlow, Fay Duvall, Carrie Long and Francis Epler.
