Georgia Gustin Dies Saturday
MARKLEVILLE- Mrs. Georgia Gustin, 65, wife of Vance Gustin, died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in St. John's Hospital, Anderson. She had lived in Markleville about 20 years. She was born on Oct. 8, 1891, a daughter of Isaac and Lillie Poor Ball of near Pendleton. She was a school teacher in Adams and Green Townships, Madison County, for a number of years. Her husband is employed by the Madison County Highway Dept.
Mrs. Gustin was a member of the Methodist Church at Pendleton, of the Mauzy Club of Markleville and of the Markleville Brotherhood and Sisterhood.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Joe McCormack of Markleville; five sons, Harold of Anderson, Gerald of RR 1, Markleville, Ralph, Markleville postmaster, Glen of Lapel, and Herbert of Markleville; ten grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Charles Haney of Anderson.
Friends may call at the Valorous C. Rector Funeral Home, Markleville at any time. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Rector Funeral Home, the Rev. Lloyd Dellinger of the Pleasant Valley Church in charge. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
