Vivian Martha Francis, 75, died Friday, April 26, 2002, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Franklin and a former resident of West Newton and Poland, Ind.
She was born Nov. 17, 1926, in Indianapolis. Her parents were Homer and Martha (Lindsey) Sparks.
She married Donald J. Francis on June 3, 1947, in Franklin. He survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Jeff J., Charles J. and Gregory P. Francis, all of Morgantown; two daughters, Linda S. Leveridge of Greenwood and Judy Francis of West Newton; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was a graduate of Manual High School in Indianapolis.
She was employed by Bridgeport Brass Inc. as a credit union manager for 10 years, retiring in 1980.
She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church.
