Doyle Brewer, 100, of Dyersburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
Mr. Brewer was a retired farmer and an avid hunter. He was a Methodist.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerry Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The Brewer Family will receive visitors from 2-3 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his two daughters, Ann Grace of Amarillo, TX and Norma Anderson of Newbern; a son, John Brewer of Marston, MO; a daughter-in-law, Jean Brewer of Dyersburg; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; and nineteen great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Emogene Brewer; a daughter, June Cooper Mertens; a son, Larry Brewer; his parents, George and Maude Luckett Brewer; and a grandson, Billy Brewer.
Pallbearers will be David Brewer, Clayton Rogers, Austin McGuire, Joe Brewer, Jacky Brewer and J.W. Wallace.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wade Rogers, Eddie Anderson, Larry Rogers, Tyler Rogers, Nick Reeves, Tim Burns and Lukas Vojnar.
