Kelly was a student at Minnesota State University in Mankato.
She was only 19....taken away too early in life.....barely got the chance to live her life.
Kelly played softball, soccer, baseball, basketball, would snowmobile in the winter and loved to water ski, Michele Dahm said. "We camped together as a family. She loved horses; she loved all animals. She was always finding an animal and bringing it home," Michele said.
Kelly Dahm played varsity softball for three years at Tartan, participated in the Relay for Life cancer fundraiser and choir, and had many friends.
Kelly Dahm earned an All-Conference Honorable Mention Award in softball her senior year, said head Tartan softball coach Tom Crancer.
Each year throughout high school Kelly participated on a Relay for Life team.
Outside of school, Michele Dahm said her daughter had worked at a day care since the age of 14. After graduating from Tartan, she attended the University of Minnesota at Mankato and wanted to be an elementary school teacher, Michele said.
