Ronald Kenneth Morgan, age 85, of Jasper, Florida, passed away Monday, August 1, 2005, in the E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville, Florida, after a lengthy illness. A native of Hamilton County, Mr. Morgan lived most of his life in Live Oak, Florida. As a young man he owned a car dealership and later worked for Granthem Chevrolet and Ottis Brown Motors. After retirement he returned to the family farm where he raised cattle.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtie Morgan, two sons: David (LeNelle) Morgan of Live Oak and Gary Morgan of Jasper, one daughter: Priscilla (James) Rye of Jasper; three brothers: S.M. Morgan (Novell) of Jacksonville, Florida; Kirby Morgan (Dorothy) and Montie Joe Morgan of Lake City, Florida; one sister: Juanita Hice (Steve) of Lake City; seven grandchildren and four great-grand-children.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, August 3, 2005, at Corinth Baptist Church with Reverend Gary Abbott and Reverend Wilbur Wood officiating. Internment followed in the church cemetery.
