Sara Bethene Bell-Tanner Sara Bethene Bell-Tanner, 36, of Salt Lake City, Utah, and formerly of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away Jan. 18, 2001, after a short illness. Sara was born Jan. 10, 1965, in Rock Springs, Wyo., to Monte D. and Marilyn R. Bell. She attended elementary, school in Twin Falls, Idaho, and was a member of Twin Falls. United Methodist Church. In 1980 her family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where she graduated from Murray High School in 1983. After high school she attended Weber State University in . Ogden,. Utah. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Salt Lake City, and was employed at Continental Airlines. She was married Aug. 17, 1990, to Larry Tanner. They later divorced. Sara had a special love for all her friends, family and animals. Her-"Pride And Joy" was her son, Kevin. She will be missed by many.
Survivors include her son, Kevin Monte Tanner of Salt Lake City; her siblings, Shannon (Jeff) Anderson of Helendale, Calif., and Mike (Rose) Bell of Nampa, Idaho; her grandmother, Irene Bell of Aberdeen, S.D.; four nephews and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at 4 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 2375 E. 3300 S Salt Lake City, Utah. Memorials may be made to the Utah Humane Society. Funeral Directors Memorial, Estates Mortuary.
