Married Marjorie Ellen Hubbard January 27, 1943 in Lawrence, KS.

Quincy Gardner died June 25, 2000 at North Florida Regional Hospital, Gainesville, FL after a brief illness. He was 78.

A native of Kansas, he moved to Florida from Topeka, KS in 1959, living one year in Melrose before settling in Keystone Heights.

He was a retired automotive instructor at the Bradford-Union Area Vocational-Technical Center in Starke, FL. And a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a volunteer at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lake City; a member of the AmVets Post #86 in Keystone Heights; and a member of the Melrose United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Hubbard Gardner and his oldest daughter, Carol Gardner Lineback.

Survivors include a daughter, Wilma Drew of Lady Lake, FL, a son, Edward Gardner of Lake Geneva, FL; five grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Graveside services were held at Keystone Heights Cemetery on Saturday, July 1, 2000.
