LEWIS, MONA ELIZABETH POWELL, formerly of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the age of 82 in Palm Desert, CA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lula Kate Waldrip; and her father, Clarence Everett Powell; her sisters, Ethel, Mickey, Dorothy and Julia; and her beloved brothers, Clarence Ray, J.B. and Donnie. She is survived by her husband, W.D. "Bill" Lewis, whom she loved and adored; her three beautiful daughters, Mona Gay, Marta Rae and Roberta Ann; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Hwy., with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2:30-8 p.m. on Friday.
