Elizabeth "Betty" A. Jackson Ingersoll (nee Feichtner), 87, of Vermilion died Tuesday at Anchor Lodge Nursing Home in Lorain after a lengthy illness.
Born in Oberlin [and a member of the OHS class of 1931], she moved to Vermilion in 1993 from Amherst.
She was a bank teller for Lorain County Bank, now known as FirstMerit, retiring in 1975 after 20 years of service.
She was also a member of TOPS in Amherst.
Survivors include her sons Charles E. Jackson of Wakeman and William Jackson of Vermillion; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a stepdaughter, Joan Forney of Wellington.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence; her second husband, F.A. Ingersoll; a stepson, Stanley Ingersoll; and a brother, Jack Ward.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of services at noon on Saturday at the Old Stone United Methodist Church, 553 Main St., Amherst.
The Rev. Peter Kerlin, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be at Camden Cemetery, Kipton.
