Clyvurne Hardee

CONWAY -- Clyvurne C. Hardee , 68, of S.C. 19, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 1997, at Conway Hospital after an illness.

He was born in Conway, a son of Carson Hardee and the late Ruby Bratcher Hardee .

He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and retired chief petty officer of 22 years.

Mr. Hardee was the founder of Hardee Electric Co.

Survivors, in addition to his father of Conway, include his wife, Audrey Gore Hardee ; a son, Danny Hardee of Conway; two daughters, Debbie Hardee and Cheri Whittaker, both of Conway; two brothers, Jerry Hardee and Bill Hardee , both of Conway; three sisters, Pauline McDowell, Fleetwood Gore and Mary Lou Edge, all of Conway; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 tonight at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway chapel.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Burial with military honors will be in the church cemetery.
