Miss Ruth Whitson, oldest daughter of Wilbert Whitson, died at her home north of Wayne City Saturday night. Funeral services were conducted at the Hopewell church Monday afternoon.

She leave sa father, a kind step-mother, three half sisters, two half brothers, an aged grandmother, who helped to care fo [sic] her during her sickness and a host of relatives and friends. Ruth was a kind and ovable Christian girl and was loved by all who knew her.

Her many sorrowing friends who were in attendance, and those who were with her in high school brough many beautiful floral offerings. She leaves a father, a kind step mother, two half brothers, three half sisters, an aged grandmother who helped to care for her during her sickness and a host of relatives and friends.
Ruth was a kind and lovable christian girl, and was loved by al [sic] knew her.
