Elmendorf resident Carrie Susan ''Sue'' Hansen, 46, died of breast cancer Jan. 24, 2000, at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage. Visitation was at Evergreen Memorial Chapel, 737 E St. A funeral was held at Elmendorf Air Force Base Chapel Two with Father Stephen Borlang officiating and the Rev. Walter Bean assisting. Pallbearers included Jason Day, Brad Johnson, Eric Prince, Brian Thompson, Ron Davis and Craig Arrowsmith. Burial was in the spring at Angelus Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Hansen was born Feb. 10, 1953, in Evanston, Ill., and moved to Alaska in 1996. She was an Air Force wife and member of the S.P.I.E.S., the 962 AACS Spouses Club. She enjoyed crafts, shopping, interior design, her children's activities, camping and being a supreme homemaker, her family wrote. They added, ''Susie will be loved and remembered by us all. If she could only see the support for her now, she would know the impact she has made.''

Mrs. Hansen is survived by her sons, Rilee Hansen and Corey Spears; daughter, Morgan Spears; mother, Jeanne Harrod of Fremont, Calif.; husband, Steve Hansen; two brothers and three sisters; and her parents-in-law, Rosalee and Bill Hansen of San Andreas, Calif. Family suggests memorial donations be sent to the Hansen Fund, Account No. 199444, Alaska USA Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 196613, Anchorage 99519-6613. Arrangements were by Evergreen Memorial Chapel, 737 E St., Anchorage.
