Ms. Valerie K. Franklin of Mariposa, California, died Saturday, September 13, 2008, in Mariposa. Ms. Franklin was 44 years old.
She is survived by two daughters: Jammie Matherly of Roseburg, Oregon and Rebecca Ford, of Mariposa, California; three sons: Jimmie Noland of San Bernardino, California, Mark and William Ford, both of Mariposa, California; her mother Joan Franklin of Greenwood, Arkansas; a brother: Robert Franklin of Grady, Arkansas; three half-sisters; and many dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at 1:00p.m. at the Art Park/The Green in Mariposa, California. Interment took place at a later date in Freedom Cemetery in Booneville, Arkansas.
