Alice Spotanski was born to Valentine and Anna Spotanski of August 27, 1870 in Poland and died in Ashton, Nebraska on October 15, 1937 at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 18 days. Paralysis was the cause of her death.
In the year 1871, she came to America with her parents and settled in Blossburg, Penn. where she lived for 8 years. In 1879 she moved to Nebraska with her family and received her education.
She was united in marriage to Vincent Rewolinski on Nov. 24, 1891 in Mt. Carmel, Nebr. To their union eleven children were born.
Eight boys: Frank, Tom, Stanley, Peter, Anton and John, Louie and Aloysius preceded her in death.
Three girls: Mrs. Sophie Lewandowski and Mrs. Mary Lewandowski survive while the other daughter, Anna, died a number of years ago.
Services for her funeral were in St. Francis church in Ashton with Rev. A.A. Jarzemski officiating. Pallbearers were five sons: Frank, Tom, Peter, Stanley and Anton Rewolinski and Alex Lewandowski.
