Her husband, R.M. Ware; parents Oscar Winfred and Jessie Lea (Carter) Cone; seven brothers and sisters; and daughter-in-law, Miriam "Mimi" Ware, preceded her in death.
Esther is survived by her children, Richard C. "Ricci" Ware Sr., Linda Ensminger and husband Gary, and the Rev. John A. Ware and wife Catherine; grandchildren Ricci Ware Jr. and wife Cynthia, Trey Ware and wife Nancy, Shey Jewett, John R. Burris and wife Amanda, Gregory Wayne Burris and wife Jennifer, Donna Catherine Silliman and husband Rich, Jennifer Michelle Gentry and husband Matthew, and Christina Linda Gulley and husband Christopher; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews from Stockdale and other parts of the United States.

Visitation was held Saturday, May 5, from 3-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale.
On Sunday at 4 p.m., a funeral service took place in the First Baptist Church of Schertz
with the Rev. John A. Ware officiating.
A committal service followed at 6 p.m. in the Stockdale Cemetery in Stockdale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Feed the Children Builders for Children, P.O Box 39, Oklahoma City, OK 73101.
