Hazel M.Brand, 98 of Parkerburg passed away peacefully surrounded by her family April 5, 2005 at her residence.
She was born in Wood Co. WV. the daughter of the late J.W. and Belle Westfall Bartlett.
She had retired after 52 years of service from the A.B. Chance Co. and was a Protestant by faith.
She is survived by her son, Emerson Bartlett of Belpre, OH. Nine Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren and Several Great Great Grandchildren. Two Brothers, Herman Bartlett of Nitro, WV. and Carl Bartlett of Walker, WV. Several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett F. Brand and a son, Lloyd K. Brand.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Pastor Bob May officiating. Burial will be in the Wright Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 1-4 and 6-8 and Saturday from Noon until service time.
