There is an error in the first paragraph of the obit. Her mother's maiden name was Nowlin, not Rau. Rau was the maiden name of Barbara's paternal grandmother.

Most likely reason for her burial in the Maroa Cemetery: Barbara was divorced from her husband, Ronald Benton Gray, and being buried next to her parents seemed to be a very logical solution for her family.

Ronald Benton Gray: Per the Social Security Death Index, he died 13 Aug 1993 and his last residence was shown as Naperville, DuPage County, IL.
