William I. Bell, of 1017 Chestnut Ave., died 8.20 p.m. yesterday in the Altoona VA Hospital, after an extended illness. He was born Altoona on July 2, 1904, of William I. and Jennie (Brant) Bell, and married Dorothy Snyder at Altoona on Dec. 11, 1963.
Surviving are his wife and a brother, Calvin of Altoona. He was of the Methodist faith, a member of Charles R. Rowan Post 228, American Legion and the UVA Club and was a veteran of World War II service in the Transportation Corps.
Mr. Bell as a PRR car repairman in 1952.
Friends will be received at the Scaglione Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.
