Ella Zerby, wife of Adam Zerby and lifelong resident of Berrien County, died at 3:30 a.m. today at her home following a brief illness. Mrs Zerby was born Dec. 10, 1878, in Oronoko Twp, where she resided for many years. She had been a resident of St Joseph for the past several years. The deceased was a member of the Royal Neighbor lodge.

Besides the husband, Mrs Zerby is survived by a niece, Mrs Doris Morrison; two brothers, Earl Briney, and Will Briney, and one sister, Mrs Gustie McTague. Funeral services will be conducted at the Kerlikowske funeral home at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the family lot In Spring Run cemetery.

Mrs. Adam Zerby Final rites, which were attended by a large number of friends and relatives, were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Kerlikowske chapel for Ella Zerby, wife of Adam Zerby.

Mrs. Thomas McCollis, accompanied at the chapel organ by Mrs Harry Johnson sang "Old Rugged Cross" and "God Will Take Care of You. Six nephews served as pallbearers. They were Ed, Hugh, Bert and James McTague, and Lyman and Leonard Briney.
