Mrs. Langford died Wednesday night, June 18, 2003, in Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview.
She was born Feb. 22, 1925, in Panola County, the daughter of Bob and Dora Sue Hillin Arnold. She had lived in Panola County all her life, was a member of the Carthage Missionary Baptist Church and had worked as a licensed vocational nurse in Carthage for more than 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Chapman C. Langford, who died Jan. 30, 1997.
Survivors include one son, Steve Langford and his wife, Patsy, of Arlington; one daughter, Patti Langford Williams and her husband, Keith, of Tatum; three sisters, Marie McCrary and her husband, Doyce, of Longview, Laura Belle Brady of Long Branch and Mae Hall of Gary; and four grandchildren, Stephen Langford of Emory, Clint and
Katie Jo Williams of Beckville and Scott Langford of Arlington.
Pallbearers will be Bobby and Billy McCrary, Dwain and Gene Brady, Nathan, Roy Dean and Clyde Homer Langford and Tommy Graves.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Carthage Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 25, Carthage, TX 75633.
