Gerald, also known as Pops, Sonny, and Rosie, retired as Master Chief aviation boatswain's mate after 22 years of service with the U.S. Navy. He loved animals, spending time outdoors, and socializing with his friends at the Ralph Huff Post VFW.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Irene Hogue; sister, Ruby Lowe; and daughter-in-law, Sandy Jo Hogue. He is survived by his children, Julie (Glenn Rogers) Hogue, Eugene (Tish), Gerald (Janet), Lauri Esposito, Sean, Kenneth (Patricia); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and his canine grandchildren, Leo and Buckethead.
