OCALA -- Laverne K. Jennings, 44, a nurse's assistant, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001.
A native of Ocala, she moved back to Ocala from New London, Conn., eight years ago. Mrs. Jennings was also an ordained minister. She is a member of Eighth Street Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, Lance Jennings, Ocala; mother, Wilhelmena McIntear, Connecticut; father, Robert McIntear, Ocala; brothers, Mark A. McIntear, Robert McIntear II, Joseph L. McIntear, Marvin B. McIntear and Reggie McIntear, all of New London; sister, Verne McIntear, New London; stepdaughters, Shetora Jennings and Tamiya Jennings, both of Akron, Ohio; and seven step-grandchildren.
