Twin of Geraldine

He had a great sense of humor and always a joke to pass on. He worked and volunteered at the American Red Cross, then in Burlingame, CA for 35 years. Had his own courier service on the side but loved his garden most of all.

The old saying "You can take the boy out of the country but not the country out of the boy" holds true. He grew his own fruits and vegetables and had his own cottage industry, making his specialty, Zucchini Bread, along with canning his famous Piccalilli Relish and Horseradish which he sold and bartered at the local Farmer's Market.

I return to Skylawn every time I make the coast to coast flight to my home state of California. Skylawn is a beautiful place with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean. He loved Half Moon Bay and traveled Highway 92 almost daily to visit his longtime pal, Cass, who lived in El Granada just north of Half Moon Bay.
