Funeral services were held at the Coen's funeral home in Creston Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. for Frank Riley Garside, 88, former Atlantic automobile dealer, and brother of William Garside of Prescott, Ariz., formerly of Anita. Burial was in the Massena cemetery. Mr Garside was born in Dallas county, June 26, 1880, the son of Samuel and Nancy Garside, and passed away Wednesday evening, June 4, at Greater Community Hospital in Creston. He had been in failing health for some time and hospitalized several weeks. He was married to Dollie Yarger Jan 7, 1902. He was engaged in the automobile business in Atlantic several years, and the past several years made his home on a farm south of Creston.

He is survived by two sons, Earl and Harley of Atlantic, four daughters, Mrs Henry Schwartz of Tustin, Calif., Mrs Harold Wandling of Des Moines, Mrs Mose Bell of Atlantic, and Mrs Lloyd (Eula) McAfee of Brayton, a brother, William Garside of Arizona, 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by seven brothers, Benjamin, James in childhood, Joe, George, Robert, Addison and Harry and two sisters, Anna in infancy and Mrs Minnie Buchanan and a granddaughter Dollie Parmley.
