(Anne) Irene (Henderson) Eoff was the daughter of Thomas R Henderson and Ann Wilson, natives of Texas. Irene was one of six children and sister to Ernest Nelson Henderson, Lucy (Henderson) Smith, Thomas W Henderson, James Atwell Henderson and Ina Henderson. Their father farmed in Jones County, Texas.

Irene married William Clifford Eoff, the son of William Monroe Eoff and Mary Ella Wilson, Oct 15, 1924 in Merkel, Taylor County, Texas. William Clifford Eoff was listed as a farmer in 1930. He and Irene were the parents of Clifford Lamarque Eoff.

"Hamlin--Mrs W. C (Irene) Eoff, 64, died at 3 p.m. Sunday in Hamlin Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Hamlin Church of Christ with burial in Merkel Cemetery under the direction of Foster Funeral Home, Doug Lecroy, minister, will conduct the service.
"Born Nov 17, 1904, in Alba, she married W. C. Eoff in Merkel Oct 15, 1924. She was a member of the Church of Christ and Daughters of the American Revolution.
"Survivors include her husband; one son Clifford Eoff of Hamlin; three brothers, Ernest Henderson of Irving and Tommy Henderson and Atwell Henderson, both of Merkle; two sisters, Mrs Claude Smith of Abilene and Ina Henderson of Hamlin; several nieces and nephews and one grandchild."
