Joshua "Josh" Allen McIntosh, age 16, of 629 Eagles Nest Road, died Sunday December 24, 2006, due to injuries received in an automobile accident. Born in Wayne County, October 6, 1990, he is the son of John & Rhonda McIntosh. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Buck & Judy McIntosh, paternal great grandmother, Ella Mae Irvin and his uncle Jerry McIntosh. Josh was a Junior at Southern Wayne High School.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 29, 2006 at 11:00 am at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jay Barnett officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
In addition to his parents, Josh is survived by his maternal grandfather, Gene Witherington of Mt. Olive; his maternal grandmother, Frances Guyton Lewis of Bladenboro, NC; his paternal great grandmother, Lossie Bell Witherington of Mt. Olive; his girlfriend, Logan Peepers of Goldsboro; Uncles, Phillip Witherington of Goldsboro, Brian Witherington & wife, Amy of Mt. Olive, Michael McIntosh & friend, Segrid Greene of Clinton, Carlton McIntosh of Dudley, Roger McIntosh & wife, Connie of Mt. Olive; and Aunt, Wanda Jackson & husband Allen of Mt. Olive.
