He was born October 30, 1939 in Springfield, VT, son of the late Justin A. and Eva (Pelletier) Ball.
He was a 1957 graduate of Appleton Academy in New Ipswich. He has been a resident of New Ipswich for the past twenty-one years and had previously lived in Jaffrey.
Mr. Ball was employed for over thirty years with the New Hampshire Ball Bearing Co. in Peterborough, and had worked as a security officer with Ames Loss Prevention for twelve years. For the past two years he has worked at County Stores in Milford.
For many years Mr. Ball served as an EMT on the Jaffrey-Rindge Ambulance and also with the Souhegan Valley Ambulance Service in New Ipswich. He was a long time member of the Peterborough Sportsman Club.
Survivors included his wife of twenty-five years Barbara (Brunell) Ball of New Ipswich; a daughter Cyndi Bergeron of Jaffrey; two sons David Ball of Northborough, MA and Steven Ball of Hillsboro; two step-daughters Kimberly Mulhall of Peterborough and Melissa Fernald of Jaffrey; a stepson Michael Christian of Rindge; two granddaughters Kaitlin Ball of Northborough, MA and Anna Fernald of Jaffrey; two sisters Rosemarie Boulerisse of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Sandra Eastman of Athens, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, his brother Richard predeceased him in 1985.
