Odell Wagner was a career lawman, beginning with the San Angelo Police and later as Sheriff of Tom Green County in San Angelo, Texas. Odell was a highly respected lawman, graduating from numerous police science schools, including the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA. He died at age 49 while serving as the Tom Green County Sheriff. He was survived by his wife Gladys and six children.
