Yo was born to Celestin and Germaine Desmartin in Arvada. She graduated from Arvada High School and was active in the Alumni Association, helping to orchestrate class reunions for 50+ years. Yo was known as "Frenchie" to her classmates.
Yo married Harlyn O. Price on April 18, 1948. He preceded her in death in 1998. Survivors include sons, David Price, residing in Powel, TN and Mark Price of Arvada; grandchildren, Kimberly Price and Kyle Price and their mother Mary Ann Pace, all of Arvada; sister-in-law Margie Price of Erie; and many loved cousins in France.
Yo served as a pink lady at Lutheran Hospital for nearly 40 years. She enjoyed dancing, visiting with grandchildren, friends and her family in France. The family would like to thank the teams at Sunrise of Boulder and Juniper Village for their playful and loving care which greatly enhanced Yo's final years. The family is also grateful for Family Hospice of Boulder's end-of-life care.
Graveside services will be held at Arvada Cemetery on Monday, September 22nd at 10:30am, immediately followed by a gathering to celebrate Yo's life at Rossis Center, 4980 Kipling, Wheat Ridge. Memorial contributions to Denver Alzheimer's Association.
