WELL KNOWN CITIZEN DEAD.- JACOB KULP, Esq., a well known citizen of Chester county, died on Tuesday morning last, at his residence in East Coventry township, about two miles from Pottstown. The deceased served several years as Director of the Poor, and for three years as Commissioner of Chester county, and for a long time filled the office of Justice of the Peace. He was in his 73d year. His disease was dropsy. Squire Kulp leaves a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. His funeral on Friday last was very large, there being about one hundred vehicles and a large concourse of people in attendance.
