Mr. and Mrs. Marion (sic) Cresse of Omaha were both victims of a traffic accident which occurred on Sunday night, March 15, Mr. Cresse was killed instantly, and Mrs. Cresse died in an Omaha hospital on March 24. Both were buried at the Pierce Chapel cemetery north of Clarks.
Mrs. Cresse was the former Jessie Adams of Palmer. She was born in 1883. They were married in Palmer in 1922,in the Adams home, now the Ben Brown residence. Rev. H. H. Utterback performed the wedding ceremony.
Mr. Cresse's funeral was held Monday, March 23 at Pierce Chapel. Mrs. Cresse's funeral was held at the same place Saturday, March 28.[Attendees followed....]
