Juanita retired from the State of Michigan where she worked as a clerk. She was an independent woman who enjoyed being a caregiver to others.
Juanita loved to crochet, cook and dance.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Lee Burgess; granddaughter, Susan Livermore; 2 step-brothers, a half-brother and her parents.
Surviving are her sons, William (Hildegard) Burgess of Kokomo, IN, Jack (Madonna) Burgess of Lansing, MI; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grand children; 2 great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held in the spring of 2016 at Wacousta Cemetery.
