Death of W. W. Gage.
Washington W. Gage, a highly respected citizen of Oswego died at his home here early Friday morning. October 18, from an attack of Influenza.
He was aged 73 years, 2 months and 20 days. The body was taken at once to the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. D. Bristow, in the west part of town, where funeral services were held Saturday morning and burial was made in Tibbetts cemetery,
He was born in Washington county, Ark., July 28, 1845. Was united in marriage with Miss Fronia Davis and to this union three children were born, John Gage, of Bartlesville, Calvin, of Sherman, Texas, and Mrs. W. D. Bristow, of Oswego, who with the aged widow, survive him. They had lived in Oswego about 3 years, and during that time have made many warm friends.
He was industrious and active for one of his years and worked every day, and wag one of those even-tempered, clean-minded men whom all respect and honor. All of the members of the members of the family were present during his last hours and ministered to him.
