He was born September 8, 1917, in Van Wert County, the son of the late Homer and Lillian (Ditto) Keltner. On July 3, 1945, he married Mary L. (Kesler) Keltner, who survives in Van Wert.
Other survivors include three children, Tom (Nancy) Keltner of Santa Monica, Calif., Pam (Gary) Grew of New Knoxville and David (Martha) Keltner of Williamsburg, Va.; and seven grandchildren.
Three brothers, Bryce, Glee and Gayle, and four sisters, Bernice Hoeken, Eloise Stewart, Marie Jackson and Ilo Wellman, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 5, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Dr. Edward Jillson officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at the funeral home.

Researching other crew member; Milo was apparently a B-17 pilot and member of the 860th Bomb Squadron, 493rd Bomb Group, flying out of RAF Debach, Suffolk County, England. Listed as being involved in a runway taxying accident on 14 Jen 1945, while piloting the Boise Belle (44-6513). John Silverman was piloting aircraft when it was shot down on 9 April 1945.
