WILLIAM A. MOON

William A. Moon passed away at his home in Primrose, Mo., Tuesday evening Oct. 22, 1935 at 11:25 P.M. Funeral services were conducted Friday at 2 P.M. at the Primrose Baptist Church by Rev. Neal Deweese and C. C. Halley. Interment was in the Primrose cemetery.

William A. Moon, son of the late Hester and Franklin Moon was born July 12, 1859 being at the time of his death 76 years, 3 months and 10 days of age. On Dec. 24, 1888, he was united in marriage to Mary Rawson, who departed this life Nov. 21, 1932. To this union four children were born, one son, Eddie, having preceded him in death. He is survived by three children, Annie (Mrs. Loss) Cash of Doe Run, Ellis Moon of Primrose and Nellie (Mrs. Henry F.) Lawson of Desloge. Besides the three children he also leaves three grandchildren, Albert Cash, Mary Isabel Lawson and Mary Elizabeth Moon; also one sister, Mrs. E. A. Ross of Azusa, California and many other relatives and friends.

In October 1893 he became a member of the Primrose Baptist Church and has since remained a true Christian, always trying to help build up the church. He had been an invalid for almost a year and had been bedfast since March of this year.
