Mildred Atlantis Hillard was the daughter of Elizabeth Atlantis "Lizzie" Richardson (1868-1942) and George Edwin Hillard (1861-1950). Her middle name was also her mother's middle name.

She came to California with her parents in 1905 and in 1908 settled at Spring Hill, two miles west of Sebastopol.

Mildred attended Pleasant Hill Grammar School and graduated from Spring Hill Grammar School in 1911. She graduated from Analy Union High School in 1915.

She married Frank Lorenzo Fellers (1894-1967) on October 24, 1915 in Sebastopol, California.

Mildred and Frank were both very active in the Methodist Church.

After their children were married they sold their home in Sebastopol, California and moved to Fresno, California. In 1956, they returned to Sebastopol, where Frank opened another automotive repair shop.

On October 24, 1965, Frank and Mildred celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary with their children, grandchildren, and many friends in attendance.

In February 1982, a stained glass window was dedicated to Frank and Mildred Fellers at the Sebastopol Methodist Church.
